Crypto Deposit Pending or Not Credited? What to Check and What to Do

A translucent ring with a lime coin flying through it towards a check mark on a stone pedestal: a transfer reaching its destination

What “pending” means for a crypto transfer, how many confirmations the network needs and how to find a transaction by its TXID. A step-by-step check and the details to give support.

The stages of a deposit

A deposit from an external wallet goes through several stages. You send the transfer, the transaction lands in a block and collects confirmations, and then TeleCard processes it and credits the amount to your balance. Each stage shows up in its own interface. A green “success” in the sending wallet only means the transfer has gone out to the network, not that it has been credited on the receiving side.

So when money “hasn't arrived”, the first question is: which stage is the transfer at right now? The answer tells you whether to simply wait or to check something.

What “pending” means

Pending is an unfinished stage. On the sender's side it can mean the transfer is waiting to be broadcast, on the receiver's side it can mean waiting for confirmations or for an already detected transaction to be processed. Don't draw conclusions from a single word: look at the explanation next to the status and at the time, asset, network, address and amount.

A deposit entry in your history shows that the transfer has been spotted. Your available balance is a separate question: you can spend the funds once they are credited.

How many confirmations TeleCard waits for

TeleCard credits a transfer after network confirmations. The number of confirmations and the typical time depend on the blockchain.

Confirmations and typical credit time by network
Network and assetConfirmations before creditTypical credit time
Tron (TRC20)19 blocks≈ 1 min
Ethereum (ERC20, ETH)12 blocks≈ 5 min
Bitcoin (BTC)2 blocks≈ 30 min
TON (Gram, USDT)After the transfer is finalized≈ 1 min

These are default values. They depend on service settings and network load and are not a guarantee: when a network is congested, confirmations take longer.

When a credit waits for an operator

  • A transfer below the minimum deposit for that asset isn't credited automatically.
  • A transfer on TON without the right memo goes to manual review.
  • If the sender's address carries an elevated risk, the credit waits for an operator's decision, which can take some time.

A step-by-step check when a deposit hasn't arrived

  1. Match the asset and the network. They must be the same as those selected for the deposit in TeleCard. A common mistake is looking for the transaction on the wrong blockchain. Our guide to USDT networks explains how to choose.
  2. Find the TXID. It's the unique ID of the transaction. In a wallet it's on the transfer's details page, on an exchange it's in the withdrawal history.
  3. Open the transaction in the right network's explorer. Tronscan for Tron, Etherscan for Ethereum, mempool.space for Bitcoin, Tonviewer for TON. The transfer won't appear in the explorer of another network.
  4. Look at the number of confirmations. If the explorer doesn't know the transaction, the sender may not have broadcast it yet.
  5. Compare the address and the amount. The recipient in the transaction has to be the address from the app, and for TON the memo as well.
  6. Open your TeleCard history. Find the deposit entry and its status, and refresh the screen.
  7. Wait for confirmations and don't send again.

Network quirks worth knowing

Tron (USDT · TRC20)

Blocks are quick, so these transfers are usually credited in about a minute. The sender pays the fee on Tron: if their wallet lacks the network's main coin (TRX) or resources, the transfer may not go out at all, and then the explorer won't show a transaction.

Ethereum (USDT · ERC20, ETH)

Speed and cost depend on network load. If the fee set in the sending wallet is too low, the transaction can stay unconfirmed for a long time. In the explorer it shows up as pending.

Bitcoin (BTC)

Confirmations come more slowly: the default guideline is about half an hour. Don't repeat the transfer while the explorer still lists the transaction as pending.

TON (Gram, USDT · TON)

A transfer becomes final quickly, but it needs the memo. If the amount and the network are right and nothing is credited, first make sure the memo was entered exactly as shown.

Why you shouldn't send the transfer again

A second send creates a separate transaction and won't speed up the first one. If the first transfer is credited later, you end up with two deposits instead of one, and you pay the network fee twice. While you wait, it's better to save the details and watch the status.

Don't rely on universal time frames from other guides: timing depends on the network, its load and the receiving service's rules. Compare with the confirmation time of the network you actually chose.

Balance, history and notifications

The balance answers whether funds are available for your next operation. The history helps you find a particular transfer and its state. A bot message draws attention to a change, but if something doesn't add up, open the record in the app itself.

Notifications can be set up by category and quiet hours, so the absence of a message doesn't prove there is no deposit. Compare the operation's details, not the number of messages in a chat.

What to send to support

  • The time you sent the transfer and the amount.
  • The asset and the network you selected.
  • The TXID or a link to the transaction in the explorer.
  • The recipient address and the memo, if the network is TON.
  • A screenshot of the status with any unrelated personal data covered.

Write to the support chat in the app (in your profile) or to the bot @itelecard_bot: it's a single conversation, and the operator's reply arrives in both places. Support doesn't need your PIN, password or Telegram codes, and you shouldn't share them with anyone. If someone messages you first, claiming to be staff and asking you to confirm an unknown operation, don't reply: open support from the app yourself.

Frequently asked questions

My external wallet says “success”. Is the money on my TeleCard balance?

Not necessarily. “Success” means the transfer was sent to the network. Crediting happens after confirmations and processing, so check your balance and the deposit entry.

How long should I wait for a USDT deposit?

The default typical time is about a minute on Tron and TON, about five minutes on Ethereum and about half an hour on Bitcoin. That is not a guarantee: when the network is busy, confirmations take longer.

What matters more for a support request: a screenshot or the TXID?

Attach both if you can. The TXID lets support find the transaction on the network, and the screenshot shows the status and the mismatch you see.

I sent a transfer on TON without a memo. What now?

It isn't credited automatically and goes to manual review. Contact support with the TXID, the amount and the time, and don't send another transfer.
