Questions and answers

How do I pay a Russian QR code with crypto?

Scan the SBP QR code in the app, check the ruble amount and the crypto debit, then confirm. A verified P2P merchant picks up the order and pays the QR in rubles from their own bank account. The final status appears in your history.

Do I need a Russian bank account or card?

No. You pay from your crypto balance in TeleCard, and the merchant pays the shop in rubles from their own bank account. All you need is Telegram and crypto.

What are the rate and the fees?

There is no separate fee on top. By default the payment rate is 4% below the market rate (3% service fee plus 1% merchant margin), and you get 1% cashback in USDT. The exact total is shown on the confirmation screen before you pay, and the rate is locked for 30 seconds.

Which cryptocurrencies and networks are supported?

USDT on TRON (TRC20), Ethereum (ERC20) and TON, plus BTC, ETH and Gram (formerly Toncoin) on TON. Pick the network before you send: it has to match on both sides of the transfer. See Wallet and networks for details.

Who holds the keys to my funds?

TeleCard is a custodial wallet. The service holds the keys to the deposit addresses, and transfers are signed by a separate, isolated signing service. You manage your balance in the app. Your PIN protects access and money actions; it is not a blockchain private key.

Do I need Telegram to use TeleCard?

Telegram is the main way in: TeleCard runs as a Mini App inside the bot @itelecard_bot. The app also opens in a browser at app.telecard.top, and you sign in there with Telegram too. A standalone mobile app is on the way.

What is SBP?

SBP, the Faster Payments System, is Russia's national instant bank-to-bank payment system. Shops, cafés and services show SBP QR codes at checkout. TeleCard reads those codes and settles the ruble payment through a verified merchant.

My deposit hasn't arrived. What should I do?

Check that the asset and network match, wait for the network confirmations, and look at the status in your history: a detected transfer and an available balance are two different states. If nothing is credited, contact support and include the transaction hash.

Can I cancel or dispute a payment?

While an order is still looking for a merchant you can cancel it, and the frozen USDT return to your balance. A completed payment can be disputed within 72 hours by default.

What are the payment limits?

By default a single payment ranges from ₽10 to ₽100,000, with a monthly limit of ₽300,000. The app shows the values that apply to you before you confirm.

How do I get help with a transaction?

Open the transaction in your history and write to support chat in the app or to the bot @itelecard_bot. Include the transaction number and its status. Never share your PIN, login codes or recovery phrases.

How do I become a P2P merchant?

Apply from your profile in the app: a questionnaire, a bank account, documents and a statement, collateral and a review. Terms and tiers are on the For merchants page.

Will there be a card for Apple Pay and Google Pay?

We plan to launch TeleCard Travel, a card for trips and purchases outside Russia. Countries, pricing and Apple Pay and Google Pay support will be announced before launch. See the Travel card page.

What will TeleCard Boost offer?

Boost is a planned subscription for people who need a higher monthly volume of QR payments. Terms will be announced before launch. See the TeleCard Boost page.
