Wallet security:
check the address,
protect your access.
A few simple habits help you stay in control of your wallet and spot anything suspicious.
Passcode and Face ID
The app opens only with your passcode or biometrics: on every launch and after 5 minutes of inactivity. After 5 wrong attempts the passcode is locked (for 15 minutes the first time, longer after that) and sessions are ended. Money actions, payments and withdrawals, ask for your passcode or biometrics again.
Security events
Notifications about a sign-in from a new device, a PIN change or a withdrawal to a new address help you notice actions you didn't take.
Address and network
Always check payment details inside the app. Don't use an address from a forwarded message or an unfamiliar site.
Transfer checks
An operation may wait for network confirmations or an extra check. Waiting doesn't mean the funds are credited or that a withdrawal is complete.
Support never has a reason
to ask for your login code.
Use a separate Telegram password and review your active sessions.
The official bot is @itelecard_bot and the browser version lives at app.telecard.top. Look-alike names and links from forwarded messages can lead to fakes.
Your PIN, Telegram codes, private keys and seed phrases are never needed to resolve a request.
A custodial model.
What it means.
TeleCard is a custodial wallet: the service, not you, holds the keys to the addresses. The keys are isolated in a separate signing service with its own limits, and the main servers keep only public keys. This lowers the risk but does not remove it: trusting the service is part of the model.
